Tasting Notes
Aroma/Bouquet: Recently recognised as the worlds best Sauvignon Blanc at the International Wine Show 2008 in London, the Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc backs up again after its success in 2007. With an bouquet of white and red currant leaf, gooseberry, lemon grass, jalapeno and lime peel aromas. The palate is medium to full-bodied with strong gooseberry and currant flavours with a hint of freshly cut red capsicum, and a refreshingly smooth lingering finish.
Cellaring
Drink now or cellar for 1-2 years.
Serving Suggestion
Summer salads, salmon, seafood and especially green lipped muscles dishes.
